There is no character who collects so many ¡Hola! and be at the same time as accessible, kind and generous with those who come to greet her, ask for a selfie or give her a hug. Norma Duval is very far from the usual arrogance of someone of her social and media position; On the contrary, it makes her happy to return the affection that people show her, particularly the ladies who choose Punt Roma to give a plus each season to her wardrobe. It happened, again, yesterday in the new boutique that the Catalan brand inaugurated on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.

“I am not just its image: Punt Roma has been my life for around 20 years. You see, I have rarely told this: when my sister was very sick with cancer, they told me about a treatment in Germany that could help her, however, she could not take a regular flight in her condition. Well, Punt Roma gave us a private plane to go and return. And perhaps she would have been saved if she had not had such an advanced disease. I will never be able to pay that. They are my family, they are my angels,” she recalls excitedly on International Breast Cancer Day, a variety that brought one of her best friends, judge Raimunda de Peñafort.

In November, the former prima ballerina of the Folies Bergère in Paris celebrates the first year of her secret wedding with real estate developer Matthias Kühn. Together for twelve years, a sudden breakup in March 2022, never fully explained, made this reconciliation even more interesting, which came in July of that same year, and became definitive in November. He is her third husband and the one with whom she understands best.

“I am very happy, although being married has not changed our lives, because we have the same guidelines. The main thing is a lot of freedom for each one, we spend as much time as possible together but we also have our obligations. And my husband understands me very well in that sense. You have to have air and even more so if you are dealing with personalities with a lot of strength and character, like us. He is now in Switzerland for work and I am here for the same reason, in Barcelona, ??the city where I was born. And then we enjoy common things that we really like, for example, we spent 10 days sailing around Palma taking advantage of the end of summer.”

Norma was born in Barcelona, ??daughter of Albino Martín and Purificación Aguilera, a soldier and a doctor’s assistant, respectively, who met drinking water at the Canaletes fountain, on Las Ramblas. She was baptized with the name of her mother and grandmother and she continued her saga. Her brother was named after her father. When she was seven years old, Don Albino was transferred to Madrid, to the Cuatro Vientos neighborhood. Yesterday Norma was surprised by Laura and Esteve Armengol, her husband and friends since that distant childhood, whose relationship has continued for decades. “Choose what you want, Laura, I’ll give it to you,” she said excitedly, addressing the Punt Roma staff.

In a recent television intervention, indiscreetly asked about her privacy, the ex-vedette came out of the mess considerably better: “Yes, I am active,” Norma said very proudly. It’s time to elaborate on it: “Ah, I took it as a joke, of course (laughs). Let’s see, it is a phrase that fits well and does not compromise anything, but if I have remarried and have a husband, what am I going to say, that I am a cloistered nun? Well no (laughs).” Norma attests that sexual life and age – in her case, a formidable 67 years – go together perfectly: “Femininity must always exist. And desire, of course. I am alive while there are people who are dead in life. My advice is that if you are, change your partner. At this point in life you have to be honest with yourself and you only live once.”
