The recent regulatory changes in Spain have fallen like a jug of cold water on real estate investors, concerned about how the new Housing Law will affect them, which, among other measures, establishes limits on rental prices. Despite this, the investor, mathematician and financial health researcher Esmeralda Gómez assures that “it continues to pay off” to invest in a sector in which “there is no single way” to start living off income.

The author of The Real Estate Investment Bible (Deusto) shares her extensive knowledge on how to build our financial freedom brick by brick in the new episode of the podcast “Pocket”, in which she talks about the different formulas for earning money in the most beyond the conventional rental. In this sense, there is a wide range of options, from SOCIMI or REIT to bare ownership, through crowdfunding or micro-patronage, “where you can invest from 50 euros”.

‘Pocket’ is a fortnightly podcast that offers information, experiences and advice to learn how to manage better in the complex world of domestic finances.
