Heroic reactions to Sydney shopping center attack

In the most distressing situations, when one is at the limit, heroic human reactions sometimes emerge. This is what happened during the attack on a Sydney shopping centre, in which several people died from multiple stabbings.

In the midst of the chaos that was felt in the Westfield Bondi Junction, the shopping center where the attack occurred, one person decided to confront the murderer, who was later killed by the police.

He has done so armed with a kind of pole, as can be seen in the video shown below. The police in the area have called this citizen who tried to confront the attacker brave.

At least six people have died from stab wounds, in addition to the murderer who has been killed. Two victims who have been injured by the attacks have been a mother and her baby. The first help they received was from two brothers who were in the shopping center.

Both have been interviewed by the 9News television network. They have reported that the baby and the mother were injured: “The mother approached me with the baby and threw it at me and I was holding the baby,” said one of those interviewed.

The other brother explained that they tried to “compress” the baby to prevent him from bleeding. “I hope the baby is okay,” they said, although they described that there was a lot of blood on the floor. They decided to lock themselves in a store to seek refuge but when they saw the desperate mother they let them in to protect themselves.
