The National Police have arrested a man accused of shooting two people in a bar in Madrid and hiding in his home, where he visited himself as a woman so he could flee with a wig, a manila shawl and socks rolled up inside his shirt to simulate female breasts, in order to mislead the agents who were monitoring him.

As reported this Tuesday by the Madrid Police Headquarters, the events occurred at dawn last Friday in an establishment in the town of Alcalá de Henares, where the detainee had an argument and, before leaving, damaged the furniture.

Moments later he returned to the bar with a firearm and shot two people who were slightly injured, although they had to be treated by medical services.

Upon arriving at the scene, the agents no longer found the suspect, but they did find his car parked nearby, inside which there was a simulated weapon and two cartridges with characteristics similar to those used in the event.

After identifying the alleged aggressor, the National Police went to his home, where he had taken refuge, and established a device to arrest him.

During the early hours of the morning the man went down to the street disguised as a woman, trying unsuccessfully to mislead the agents. He was wearing a wig, a manila shawl, white boots and socks rolled up under his shirt that were intended to simulate a female bust.

The Special Operations Group (GEO) of the National Police found up to two kilos of marijuana in the search of his home and, hours later, thanks to citizen collaboration, a bag containing a shotgun was located in the Nogales Park in Alcalá. trimmed and cartridges.

The weapon is being analyzed by Scientific Police agents to determine if it corresponds to the one used by the detainee in the altercation at the bar.

For all this, the judicial authority ordered his entry into prison as the alleged perpetrator of crimes of attempted homicide, for the shooting, and against public health, for the possession of narcotics.
