Agents of the National Police have arrested a man in the Valencian town of Gandia for allegedly robbing a grocery store in which he insulted, pushed and hit its owner, alluding to his nationality.

The events took place around 9:40 p.m. when the police were commissioned by Room 091 to go to a food establishment, where a man would have stolen different products and had run out of it, according to what the forces and bodies have reported. security in a statement.

Once in the place, they found out that moments before a man had entered the store and had taken different food and drink products, but at the moment when the owner of the store told him to put them on the counter so he could pass them through box, the suspect adopted a “very aggressive” attitude.

In addition, he insulted him and told him to go to his country of origin while pushing and hitting him on the chest. After these events, he ran out of the establishment and took the products without paying.

After several raids in the area, the agents located the arrested person, who was carrying a bag with the stolen products and, when asked by the agents, stated that he had left the establishment without paying and that he had no intention of paying the bill, since that he had no money.

Faced with these demonstrations, the police officers explained to the man the legal consequences that his actions could have and asked him to identify himself, to which the detainee refused, while disrespecting the agents, who told him that he would have to Accompany them to police stations.

The man adopted an “aggressive” attitude, refused to accompany them and put up “great resistance” in order to hinder police work. Finally, he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of theft and hate, as well as a crime of resistance and disobedience to an agent of authority.

During the transfer to police stations, the man showed a “continuous aggressive attitude”, hit the door and kicked inside the police vehicle.

The arrested man, 25 years old and Spanish nationality, with no police record, has gone to court.
