The content platform has just announced a price increase that will affect all subscribers: the monthly subscription, which until now had a cost of 8.99 euros, will rise in price to 9.99 euros. It is, therefore, an increase of 1 euro that represents 11% on the extinct rate.
“We raised the monthly price in light of increases in acquisition, content creation, and product development costs, to allow us to continue to invest in quality content and the product experience that we strive to provide our customers,” they reported. in its communication to subscribers.

In fact, in recent months, the HBO Max brand has been affected by the decisions of David Zaslav, executive director of Warner Bros. Discovery, who removed own content from the catalog such as Westworld and The Nevers to sell the episodes to streaming channels with advertising in the United States and disappear without a new home in sight in markets like Spain.

Therefore, if to date they paid 4.49 euros per month, since they had a 50% discount for life, in the next bills they will pay 4.99 euros per month.
