If there’s one name that Marvel fans identify with as General Thunderbolt Ross, it’s none other than William Hurt. After the actor’s death, viewers believed that they would never see anyone play the character again. However, the specialized Hollywood press points to a name that has not left anyone indifferent and that has gone viral for several hours on social networks: Harrison Ford.
The actor who brings Indiana Jones to life could join the Marvel universe soon. According to The Hot Mic Podcast, the studio was going to make such an announcement at the D23 Expo, when the cast of the film Thunderbolts was announced. But Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy wanted “all the attention on Ford to focus on his role in the next Indiana Jones movie.”
Some believe that the actor’s age, who turned 80 this summer, may become a handicap. Others, however, do not see it as a problem, because they believe that when his character becomes his alter ego, the red Hulk, more permanently, the interpreter would only need to provide his voice and some facial features. .
If finally confirmed, Ford’s choice for the role would make sense, since he was previously part of Star Wars, which, like Indiana Jones and Marvel, belongs to Disney.
