Hacker floods Disneyland Instagram with slur-filled photos

A self-described “super hacker” hacked the Disneyland Resort Instagram account early Thursday morning. According to David Do, the hacker created numerous posts on the official account that were filled with homophobic and racist slurs.

He wrote, “I am a super hacker and I am here to bring back Disney land,” alongside a photo of himself. He said that he was sick of his employees making fun of him. “… Who’s the tough guy, Jerome?

The hacker also used the N-word repeatedly in his posts and repeatedly claimed he “invented” covid.

The hacker also posted to the account’s Instagram Story.

Instagram has 8.4 Million followers for Disneyland. The page also features photos of children, families and other activities at the California resort.

Shortly after the incident, the account was temporarily removed and then re-emerged with no hacked posts.

Disneyland’s other social media pages appear unaffected.

A Disneyland official stated to CBS News that the account had been “compromised” in a statement.

The official stated that they had worked quickly to remove the offensive content and secure their accounts. They also informed that the investigation was ongoing by the security teams.
