The Benidorm City Council has granted a building permit to the company Goya Real Estate to build a 158-meter-high, 44-story building on the last building site in the Alicante city on the beachfront. It will take the place of the legendary Gran Hotel Delfín, on Poniente beach, an icon of the tourist capital of the Costa Blanca opened in 1963, according to the company.
“The construction license, issued by the Benidorm City Council authorities after a rigorous and exhaustive process, validates the project’s compliance with all urban planning regulations and standards,” according to the press release.
The structure is designed so that all the apartments have sea views, it will have a design reminiscent of the shape of two sails joined by a mast and will have an innovative integration with the environment: Mediterranean dunes will surround the building to create harmony with the environment. natural landscape.
A part of Gran Delfín will be used to create a hotel enclave with exclusive services such as sauna, spa, lobby, gym, yoga and Pilates area, coworking spaces, gardens, sky gardens, tennis courts, social club, restaurant and swimming pools.
The owners of the one hundred homes in Gran Delfín will also be able to enjoy the hotel services, with the difference that they will have a hall with independent access, swimming pool, sky gardens and exclusive areas to guarantee their privacy and tranquility.
Another of the Goya group’s bets will be profitability. The homes will have tourist use licenses, which will allow the owners to rent them for all types of stays without restrictions, generating extra profitability.
Gran Delfín will be built according to the LEED Gold certification for sustainability in Spain, with eco-friendly materials and technologies, just like its neighbor, Delfín Tower. This hotel-residential project will have an auditorium and a beach club of one thousand square meters with direct access to the beach, according to the company. Goya Real Estate assures that, in the first days of sale, “Gran Delfín” has already exceeded 88 reservations.
