Governor's Ball performance: Roddy Ricch, Rapper Arrest

Roddy Ricch, a rapper, was detained Saturday just before he was due to perform at New York City’s Governor’s Ball music festival.

Rodrick Moore was Ricch’s legal name and he was taken into custody along with two others after Citi Field private security officers saw firearms in a vehicle at 6:20 p.m. E.T., according to the New York Police Department.

Officially, Ricch was on Saturday’s Governor’s Ball schedule. However, the festival’s official twitter account announced shortly after 7:15 p.m. that Ricch would not be performing his set.

Ricch, aged 23, was accused of criminal possession, criminal possession and unlawful possession large-capacity ammo feeders.
