This Sunday’s election day in Catalonia will be marked by good weather and temperatures that will exceed 25 degrees in most of the territory.
According to the Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat), at the beginning of the day there will be high clouds from west to east that will leave the sky between partly cloudy and very cloudy, especially in the afternoon.
At the end of the day, cloud cover will be more abundant in the west, where the sky will be very cloudy or overcast. In the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees, cloudiness will increase during the afternoon.
Until mid-morning some drizzle could fall on the southern coast and pre-coastal, and at the end of the morning scattered rains are expected in the Pyrenees, in whose northern end they will be more frequent in the afternoon and will be locally accompanied by storms, hail or small stones, and in a more isolated way perhaps also in the Pre-Pyrenees.
Temperatures will be high practically throughout the territory and in some parts of the province of Lleida they will touch 30 degrees.
Visibility will be good and a light wind will blow in variable directions.
