The horizontality and verticality of the flight of the gray herons draws a beautiful geometry in the sky while they carry branches to their nests on the banks of the Ter river, in Osona.
With the first light of the sun I have captured these images for The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia of the gray herons in flight, with branches to rebuild the nests.
The photographs were taken in the Ter river, between Les Masies de Voltregà and Torelló, since in this place there is a different municipality on each side of the river.
These herons are part of the group of these birds that come every year to this area of ​​Catalonia before spring begins.
In the snapshots we can appreciate the sunlight early in the day illuminating her face, as they say, photography is the art of light.
