The list of defaulters of the Treasury is reduced. Debtors of more than 600,000 euros fell by 13.7% in 2022, with 6,076 natural or legal persons. In total they owe 15,213 million euros, 14.1% less than a year ago. Among the names of taxpayers that are included in the list, ex-referee José María Enríquez Negreira, with a debt of 1.2 million, stands out, investigated for receiving millionaire payments from FC Barcelona.
Also included in the document is the Brazilian soccer player Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira, who owes the tax 0.82 million after having played only one season in the ranks of Barcelona. Likewise, the companies ToysRUs Iberia are incorporated, with a debt of 3.06 million euros, Pullmantur Cruises (0.96 million) -its parent company Pullmantur was already on the previous list- and Club Deportivo Badajoz (0.88 million). .
On the other side of the scale are those who leave the list. This is the case of ex-soccer player Daniel Alves, currently in prison and who previously appeared with a debt of 2.08 million, and also ex-Blaugrana player Samuel Eto’o, who owed just under a million. The same is true of the writer Ildefonso Falcones, who had a debt of 1.7 million euros, or the talk show host of heart programs Kiko Matamoros, who was listed with a debt of 713.00 euros. The former president of Bankia, Rodrigo Rato, who owed 1.4 million, as well as the businessman José María Aristrain (1.3 million) and the chef Sergi Arola (985,000 euros) also leave.
Most of the defaulters that appear are legal entities, with 5,067, while another 1,009 are individuals. Up to 1,591 taxpayers have abandoned the list due to totally or partially canceling the debt, deferring it, suspending it, or because it is not firm. In this sense, the Tax Agency recalls that the jurisprudence established by the Supreme Court in judgments of January and February has made it necessary to exclude 636 debtors who appeared in the previous list and 322 new defaulters with debts that were not final.
However, this is not the case of the businessman Mario Conde (6.4 million euros) or the actress Paz Vega (1.8 million euros), who continue to appear on the list despite reducing their debts by 1, 4 and 1.2 million euros, respectively. Other defaulters that remain are the businessman Agapito Sánchez (15 million), the television presenter Patricia Conde (1.06 million), the former partner of Iñaki Urdangarin, Diego Torres (956,000 euros), and the commission agent in the case of the masks of the Madrid City Council, Luis Medina, with 652,000 euros.
Although the global amount of debts included in the new list reaches 15,212 million euros, there are amounts that correspond to main debtors and their joint and several responsible, so subtracting these duplications the amount would be 13,566 million euros, 6.9 % less than a year ago.
