After the Barbiecore boom, the close relationship between cinema and fashion is more fashionable than ever. Although Barbie clothing items are not yet sold, for movie fans it is the perfect time to buy some iconic items from old movies at the Propstore auction house, one of the main suppliers of famous movie and television memorabilia, which will hold its annual sale, between November 9 and 12, in London.

Among the list of 1,800 items in the auction, with a total estimated value of about 13 million euros, is the illuminated head that actor Anthony Daniels used to play the android C-3PO in Star Wars: A New Hope. It is the most expensive item in the auction and its maximum estimated price exceeds one million euros, being part of Anthony Daniels’ own personal collection. β€œI am delighted that Propstore manages my collection and trust that the pieces will end up in the right hands,” said Anthony Daniels.

The actor’s collection also includes other body parts of the golden robot. β€œIt is a great privilege to offer such an extraordinary collection from a true Star Wars legend,” said Stephen Lane, Founder and CEO of Propstore.

For those who want something cheaper, one of the metal gloves used by Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street will be sold, almost half a million euros. In addition, the catalog will include a Harrison Ford shirt from the movie Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (up to approximately 328,000 euros) and Tom Hanks’ iconic sneakers from Forrest Gump (up to 35,000 euros).

One of Leonardo DiCaprio’s suits in Titanic (up to 218,000 euros) is expected to be another of the auction’s big hits, as well as one worn by Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean (up to around 110,000 euros). The garments worn by Michael Keaton in Batman and Daniel Craig in James Bond will also go on sale, and are even somewhat cheaper, around 27,000 euros and 21,000 euros starting price.

The catalog has not been revealed in its entirety yet, but we already know that Propstore will sell some more affordable items for fans. If after watching the movie Openheimer you fall in love with Cillian Murphy, be sure to admire her cap in Peaky Blinders, whose minimum price is estimated at around 4,400 euros.

The first day will feature in-room auctions, open to the public at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London. Online and telephone bidding will take place throughout the event.
