Four people have been injured by a knife after a brawl that took place this Saturday afternoon in the Valencian town of Paterna, sources from the National Police have informed Europa Press.
According to the newspaper Levante-EMV, the injured belong to the same family -the parents and the children, one of them a minor-. The father remains hospitalized in serious condition after having undergone an emergency operation.
In addition, this same newspaper notes that the events took place in the La Coma neighborhood, apparently during a brawl between two family clans over the burning of a vehicle.
The injured, all of them of Spanish nationality and between the ages of 17 and 44, went directly to the Emergency Department of the La Fe Hospital in Valencia, from where the National Police was notified, police sources and the Ministry of Health have indicated. Universal Health and Public Health.
The Homicide Group of the National Police has taken over the investigation.
