Barcelona will host this weekend the sixth round of the 2022 Formula 1 season. After the race in Miami, where Max Verstappen was proclaimed champion, the competition returns to Europe and will do so at the Circuit de Montmeló Barcelona-Catalunya.

This will be a very special appointment for Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz, who will try to get another point. Charles Leclerc remains the leader of the Formula 1 World Championship after finishing second in the Miami GP. The Ferrari driver has 104 points, 19 more than Max Verstappen.

The Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. and can be seen live on DAZN and Movistar. It can also be followed on the La Vanguardia website.
