The 12-year-old mayor of Sant Vicenç de Montalt and eight president of the Maresme County Council, Miquel Àngel Martínez, is running again to lead the City Council he chaired. On this occasion, Martínez will lead the list of Junts per Sant Vicenç de Montalt, once the PDeCAT associates vote unanimously on their project.
Martínez will preside over a new formation that, as he himself assured, “is not a list of politicians” but of people specialized in various municipal areas and who have made the decision “because I have noticed the warmth of the people who love me.” In his portfolio of proposals, among others, he has the extension of the promenade “which we left ready and nobody has been able to finish” despite the fact that a state subsidy of 500,000 euros was available.
The former mayor alludes to his experience and “a job well done” to “generate enthusiasm with a great human team” that will work to build social housing, support young people, serve all citizens without distinction, promote the reduction and freezing of taxes , fees and public prices.
