Five events of international scope that are taking place within the framework of the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) are placing Barcelona as the world epicenter of debate and reflection on logistics during this week.

“There are trade agreements and associations between Latin American countries and the European Union that include Spain, such as the Economic Association Agreement between the European Union and the countries of Central America, or the bilateral agreements with countries like Mexico or Chile, which facilitate trade between Catalonia and Latin America by eliminating tariff barriers and promoting economic cooperation”, said Pere Navarro, president of SIL and special delegate of the State in the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), the organizer of the event, during his presentation in Alacat. lounge. “That is why we are here, to continue eliminating barriers,” added Navarro.

On the other hand, this Thursday the SIL has delivered the prizes for innovation. In the section for best private innovation, Farma Service Cold, from Biomedical Logistics, has been the graceful initiative. Vellore Cargo Community System has collected the award for best innovation promoted by a public institution.

Finally, it has been decided to reward the Logistics 4.0 Incubator, the incubator led by the CZFB, as the best innovative project.
