The organized and authorized demonstrations of farmers arrive in the capital tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21. There will be five columns in the mobilizations that start today from different communities in Spain and in a two-day day they will arrive in Madrid to demonstrate in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The tractors will come from the closest autonomous communities. About 500 tractors are scheduled to arrive. They have been organized into five starting points: Torrejón de la Calzada, Arganda del Rey, Robregordo, El Espinar (Segovia) and Guadalajara, points where they will arrive today for the concentration. In some of these municipalities they will give up gyms or common areas so that farmers can rest.
The estimated time of arrival at the Plaza de la Independencia is ten thirty in the morning, beginning at that time a demonstration on foot followed by 30 tractors, along Alfonso XII Street and ending at the Ministry of Agriculture, approximately at 14 hours. This Tuesday, farmers are leaving from the most distant Autonomous Communities.
-Extremadura Route:
The two columns of vehicles from Extremadura will access the M-415 roads to the Community of Madrid, to Griñón to finish the day in Torrejón de la Calzada.
– Castilla-La Mancha Route:
The column from La Roda (Albacete) accesses the Community of Madrid through the M-320, M-404 to Torrejón de la Calzada. The column from Cuenca arrives on the M-404 through Chinchón to end in Torrejón de la Calzada.
The column coming from Mora (Toledo) enters the Community of Madrid via the M-305/M-307 Aranjuez – Ciempozuelos and via the M 404 Ciempozuelos – Torrejón de la Calzada. The column coming from Motilla del Palancar (Cuenca) enters the Community of Madrid, coming from Illescas (Toledo) via CM4008, M-415, M-404, to Torrejón de la Calzada. The column from Cuenca reaches the Community of Madrid through M-222, M-221, M-204 and N-3 to end in Arganda del Rey.
-The route of the Valencian Community:
The column from Utiel (Valencia) will pass through Villatobas (Toledo) and enter Madrid via the CM-322, M-404 and N-3, until Arganda del Rey.
Route of Castilla y León:
The column from Burgos enters the Community of Madrid, through the SG-V-2344 to the town of Robregordo.
Andalusia Route:
The column from Los Palacios and La Carolina arrives at the Community of Madrid from Orgaz (Toledo) via the CM410, M-405 and M404 to Torrejón de la Calzada.
-Route that starts from Torrejón de la Calzada:
It leaves from Torrejón de la Calzada on the M-419, to Fuenlabrada, then on the M-506 and M-406 to Leganés and arrives at the Vía Luistana (Madrid) through the M425, continuing along the Vía Lusitana, Marcelo street. Usera, Puente de la Princesa, Glorieta de Legazpi, Paseo de las Delicias, Calle Bustamante, Calle Comercio, Avenida Menéndez Pelayo, Calle de O’Donnell, Calle Alcalá to Plaza de la Independencia.
– Route from Guadalajra:
Leaving Guadalajara on the N-320 to Parque de Las Castillas, N-113 to Paracuellos del Jarama and on the M-111 to Barajas, M-14 service road, Avenida de la Hispanidad, A-2 towards Avda .de América, side of Avenida deAmérica, Avenida de Logroño, Canillejas roundabout, Alcalá street, to reach the Plaza de la Independencia.
Route that starts in Arganda del Rey:
Exit Arganda del Rey along the M-208, M-203 until you reach Pirotecnia Street under the M-45 roundabout, Pirotecnia Street, Aurora Boreal Street, Democracy Avenue, Plaza Alonso, Casalarreina Street, Daroca Avenue, joining M23, O’Donnell street, Alcalá street to end at the Plaza de la Independencia.
– Route that leaves Robregordo:
Exit from Robregordo on Calle del Corral, M-978, M-636 and M634 to Buitrago de Lozoya, continue by M-126, M-127 and M 131 to Torrelaguna, follow M-103, M-111 and A-1 (service road), M-603 road from Fuencarral to Alcobendas, Nuestra Señora de Valverde Street, Llano Castellano Avenue, Mauricio Legendre Street, Enrique Larreta Street, Mateo Inurria Street, Pio XII Avenue, Prince of Vergara Street, Alcala Street, to end at Independence Square.
– Route that will come from El Espinar (Segovia):
They will depart from (Hotel Espinar) El Espinar along the N-6, M-510 to Galapagar, they will continue along the M-505, M-500, Overpass over the M-30, Paseo de Ruperto Chapí, Paseo de Camoens, Calle Marqués from Urquijo, Alberto Aguilera street, Carranza street, Sagasta street, Génova street, Colón square, Armada Española street, Serrano street to end in the Plaza de la Independencia.
The Government Delegation warns that all affected municipalities have received information about the arrival of tractors en masse and some of them are going to facilitate the application to farmers.
