The new children’s play space in the Carme Biada gardens will be more inclusive and accessible, with options for children under 4 years of age —the age group of children who use it the most— and creative, collaborative games with development challenges.
The gardens of Carme Biada are in the interior of the island that is located between the streets of Roger de Llúria, Rosselló, Bruc and Còrsega, in L’Eixample. The space had lost play elements due to the construction of the Casa dels Nens Nursery School and was being damaged by the passage of time.
The performance, which has had a cost of 400,000 euros, is expected to finish at the end of September.
