The final bull that escaped from a rodeo at Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro on Sunday was successfully captured on Monday evening. This bull was one of eight that had made a run for it, jumping a fence and roaming through local neighborhoods.

Chris Mooney, a local resident, shared his experience of spotting the bulls running down the street. He quickly brought his kids and dogs inside for safety. The rodeo event was taking place in the mall’s parking lot when the bulls made their escape.

After a day of pursuit, the last bull was finally wrangled into a trailer around 8 p.m. on Monday. A video captured the intense moment when the bull charged at a man who was trying to coax it into the trailer. While one bull was caught early on, the remaining seven managed to evade capture.

Residents reported seeing two men with lassos and a pickup truck equipped with a large trailer searching for their missing bull. Despite the efforts of the community and rodeo staff, it took some time to corral the group of six bulls that had stuck together in the neighborhood.

Although the situation was unsettling for residents, Mooney noted that the bulls seemed more lost and scared than aggressive. They sought refuge in a backyard and remained in a corner until they were approached.

Local authorities in North Attleboro stated that they were not actively involved in the search on Monday, leaving it up to the rodeo staff to locate the missing bull. The staff declined to comment on the incident, and it was a relief for the community when all the bulls were finally secured.

The escape of these bulls created quite a stir in the neighborhood, but thanks to the collaborative effort of residents and rodeo staff, all eight bulls were safely accounted for. This unexpected event served as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of live events and the importance of quick thinking and cooperation in handling such situations.
