The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will meet next Monday with the president of the CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, in the first of the meetings he will hold with businessmen and social agents within the framework of the round of contacts prior to the debate on investment.

PP sources have explained that among the meetings that Feijóo will hold ahead of his investiture, Tuesday’s meetings with the general secretaries of UGT, Pepe Álvarez, and CCOO, Unai Sordo, also stand out.

The popular president will present the general lines of his government program, as well as “the obvious risks and the fracture of Spanish society that an amnesty would entail, on the path to a self-determination referendum, as the pro-independence forces intend,” according to sources. .

The PP will take advantage of these meetings to condemn the fact that the acting Government is dedicated “exclusively to an identity debate that leads to nothing, only to remaining clinging to the Moncloa”, despite the “problems that citizens directly suffer.”

Furthermore, Feijóo will reiterate his criticism of Pedro Sánchez for being “willing to give in and break the constitutional path that entails equality for all citizens.”
