The act was scheduled before the 28-M elections, to give thanks for the results, whatever they were, but Alberto Núñez Feijóo exhibited this Sunday, in the Parque de El Retiro, in Madrid, his territorial power, to the go accompanied by all the barons of his party, those who govern and those who will do so in a few days, as an example of what can happen on July 23, in a general election to which the PP appears, they say in the party, in conditions very different from those it had before the electoral overturn in the municipal and regional elections.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo dedicated the act to defending the agreements reached by the PP to govern in City Councils and Autonomous Communities, those obtained with Vox, with a clarification, so that Santiago Abascal listens “that they do not count on us not to fight against the violence of gender”, but also those obtained with the PSOE so that the socialists govern the capital of Euskadi, Vitoria, and so that Collboni is the mayor of Barcelona.

Some agreements that he attributed to “a State policy”, which is the one applied by the PP, and a determination in its objective: “The trenches, the blocks and the gangs are over.” It is what he believes that the PP has achieved by giving its votes to the Socialists so that they govern in Vitoria and Barcelona, ??demonstrating that if the others want, they have the capacity to agree with everyone.

But with these agreements, the president of the PP clearly tells the PSOE that “no more listening to the morals of those who cannot give them”, more after the words of the Government delegate in Madrid about Bildu, which he described as “indignity”, and with a warning “We are not going to accept morality from those who give mayors to Bildu and trade with Bildu, from those who do not accept that the one who wins govern”.

He is not going to accept “moralinas” from “those who have made Spain hostage to those who want to break territorial unity”, and even more so after the PP gave the vote to the PSOE mayors so that the independentistas would not govern, the PSOE gave the mayoralty of Santiago de Compostela “to a sovereignist party”, the BNG, where the PP had won.

But the PP does not care, because what the PP did yesterday in Barcelona, ??by giving the mayoralty to the socialist candidate, means, for Feijóo, “that we have fulfilled our duty.” “It has been a state policy”, although he is convinced that “the sanchismo party would never have supported us to give us the mayoralty of Barcelona, ??in the same situation.”

Of course, the president of the PP assures that “I do not care” that “they have not thanked us”, but he did not expect that after supporting them, on top of that “they insult us”, something that he considers “moral turpitude”, although “it is not I don’t care” and he stressed that he will do it again, because his priority was “to get the independentistas out of the mayors’ offices.” It was about, Feijóo assured, and he was applauded by the attendees, “to defend some principles, even though Sánchez does not have them.”

And those principles go through “starting to break the blocks”, which is what in his opinion the PP has achieved in the constitution of the city councils”, because he does not believe in the policy of blocks and for this reason he aspires “to a majority to break it”. A majority, Feijóo stressed, which has to be “solid and sufficient, to open Spain to the Spaniards”. A majority “to open a new time”, which is not going to be easy, he confessed, but with the who wants to “renew the spirit of concord” and return to Spain “an atmosphere of truth and plurality of the country”.
