The relatives of the victims of the Fiella de Tremp residence (Lleida) testified this Monday for the first time before the judge in the case of reckless homicide.
Evaristo Saura, son of one of the 64 residents who died from Covid-19 out of a total of 142, has described the situation he experienced in the residence as “the house of horrors” and has confirmed the “total lack of control” that they narrate the reports of the prosecutor’s office and the Mossos.
Saura has denounced the lack of communication on the part of the residence and has narrated that upon entering the center she found her father “tied to the bed and covered with three blankets.”
This relative has been forceful and has stated that they “let the residents die.”
