The Network of Civic Centers in Barcelona, ??with the commemoration of International Women’s Day, offers a series of exhibitions divided into ten rooms where the focus is on women and the number of the most relevant in history is claimed.

In the Cotxeres Civic Center of Sants until March 16, you can visit the exhibition The woman, lights and shadows that gives recognition to the woman who remains in the shadows and who, despite the adversities, is able to achieve things.

The Sarriá-Sant Gervasi district will host two exhibitions, where you can enjoy Women’s Geology until March 16 and Mizque Women’s Human Rights through participatory photography until March 29.

At the Civic Center l’Elèctic, the Geology in Women exhibition is presented by the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia, where it is intended to know the work of women, meeting seven women scientists who have contributed to the advancement of Earth sciences, many times invisible or hidden in the background.

The MUSOL Foundation exhibits the Human Rights of Mizque exhibition through participatory photography on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on violence. It will be open to the public at the Vallvidrera Vázquez Montalbán Civic Center.

The civic center of the Nou Barris district will host the representation Dones de Barri by the illustrator Rita Hervás, who through her work shows the life of the neighborhood starring women.

The winning project of the Pankhurst Call Spatium curae, spatium affectionum aims to show and ask what space corresponds to our mothers and our grandmothers, reflecting on whether there is a place that is exclusively for women. The exhibition will be found at the Matas i Ramis Civic Center.

Si els cossos fossin cossos, a project by the Cercle de Fades collective, seeks to reconsider the figure around female sexuality, experiences with sex, pleasure and desire, based on correct values, such as sound. The project can be visited from March 7 to 28 of the same month at the Center Cívic de la Barceloneta.
