The energy company Endesa is testing in the city of Lleida an application that allows technicians to receive maneuver orders with greater security and reduce the time to resolve breakdowns.
The project, called E-CHO, takes a step forward in the digitalization of communications at the company’s control center in Catalonia.
Last year, 46% of the orders that staff received were given by telephone. With this program this changes and orders are given through an application, which allows clear instructions to be given and saves the time it took to verify the oral order.
The pilot test has already been tested in Tarragona and is now being tested in Lleida, with the aim of extending it to all of Catalonia and, later, to the rest of the State.
