Eighty Ukrainians receive military training in Cádiz before joining the front

Eighty Ukrainians who will soon join the battle front are receiving basic military training, from combat shooting to throwing grenades from trenches, at the Sierra del Retín Amphibious Training Field, in Barbate (Cádiz).

The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, visited this training camp today to thank the “great training role” that the Spanish Marine Corps performs and to once again express Spain’s “total and absolute” commitment and support to Ukraine, in the war waged against Russia.

The visit of the president of Ukraine, Volodymiz Zelensky, was scheduled, but was canceled at the last minute due to the progress of the military conflict.
