ENTI-UB, a pioneering center in creating official degrees and higher-level training cycles dedicated to the training of professionals in programming, artistic design, production, music, etc., of video games and Serious Games (applied games), goes one step further and For the 2024-2025 academic year, it offers the first university degree in Cybersecurity in Catalonia.

The demand for professionals with specific training in cybersecurity led ENTI-UB to launch a higher degree training cycle in Administration of Computer Systems and Networks with a Cybersecurity profile. These studies train students to configure, manage and maintain computer systems, guaranteeing the functionality and integrity of the system’s resources and services, with the required quality and complying with current regulations.

Now, this private center attached to the University of Barcelona – which guarantees the educational quality of its degrees – reinforces its training in the field of ICT with the pioneering university degree in Cybersecurity in Catalonia. A university training that provides students with the tools and skills necessary to address emerging threats in this area.

The Cybersecurity degree program will follow the learning by doing methodology, in which there is no distinction between theory and practice, and where students immerse themselves in real situations and challenges. The new four-year degree from ENTI and the UB will provide continuity to graduates of the higher degree training cycle who want to continue their training path, and will allow university training to those students who until now could not access this option specifically.
