Michael Moore Warns Democrats: Support for Israel Could Lead to Lost Elections

According to Moore, voters under 45 and people of color, who make up nearly half of the electorate, are increasingly disinterested in war and would prefer to see government funds allocated to education, healthcare, and elder care. He emphasized the need to divert resources away from Israel, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by his nickname, “Bibi.”
Democrats Face Electoral Consequences
Moore’s comments come in the wake of Vice President Harris’s defeat in the recent presidential election by President-elect Trump, who secured victory in all seven battleground states. The Republicans also gained a majority in the Senate and maintained a slim lead in the House.
Harris faced criticism during her campaign for aligning with Biden’s stance on the conflict, rather than taking a tougher stance on Israel. This position alienated voters on the left who advocate for Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza and Lebanon.
