The accident of a person in Badalona complicates the operation leaving Barcelona by train at rush hour, causing delays of more than 45 minutes on Rodalies line 1.
The accident that occurred around 8 p.m. caused trains to not circulate in both directions on R1 for several minutes and finally single-track traffic was restored.
The event took place near the Torrent de Vallamajor bridge in Badalona. Numerous personnel from the security services, firefighters and local police, as well as the mayor, Xavier García Albiol, have attended the scene.
