Embracing the Spirit of Advent with Sisters of Providence

As the Christmas season approaches, the Sisters of Providence invite you to join them in a series of Advent meditations and reflections to remember and reflect on the coming of Jesus. These spiritual gatherings will take place virtually at the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays in December, specifically on December 2, 9, 16, and 23.

A Holistic Approach to Spiritual Growth

The events promise a unique blend of music, imaginative prayer, Lectio and Visio Divina, silence, and breathing meditation. Not limited to a single faith tradition, prayers will be drawn from a variety of spiritual practices to cultivate a deeper connection with the divine. This holistic approach aims to align the mind, heart, and spirit of participants on the profound significance of Jesus’ arrival, emphasizing the true essence of the Christmas season.

How to Participate

For those interested in partaking in these enriching meditations, there is no cost to attend. To secure your spot, registration can be completed online at Events.SistersofProvidence.org. Alternatively, you can reach out to the organizers directly by calling 812-535-2952 or emailing provctr@spsmw.org. Don’t miss this opportunity to center yourself on the greatest gift the world has ever known and rediscover the true meaning of Christmas with the Sisters of Providence.
