Ghostly fogs, winds and cold have accompanied the beautiful lenticulars drawn in the sky, creating a spectacle full of fantasy, as seen in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.

The lighthouse sanctuary is a church in Susqueda (La Selva) included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.

This sanctuary crowns the tip of a colossal and impressive cliff, with a very characteristic silhouette, at a total of 1123 meters of altitude.

From the viewpoint of this 11th century church, we have magnificent views over the Susqueda marsh, the Tavertet cliffs, the Guilleries and Montseny.

Its geographical location is strategic. The Faro risk delimits the Collsacabra subregion of the Guilleries region and the Hostoles valley.

Among the clouds, lenticular clouds stand out, so called because they are shaped like a lentil or there are also those who see them as shaped like a saucer or converging lens.

They are stationary and form mainly at high altitudes in mountainous areas and isolated from other clouds. Among mountaineers these clouds are considered a harbinger of a storm.
