In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we are located in the capital of Osona. Near the Vic medieval art museum we can find a spectacular Roman temple, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.

A construction that dates back to the 2nd century, although its location was very unknown. It was not until the arrival of the year 1882 when the Romanesque castle of Montcada was demolished that the ruins of the temple appeared.

When they discovered it, they found it in very good condition, but its reconstruction took 77 years. Currently, this is one of the only two Roman temples preserved in Spain in this good condition.

If we focus on what is still preserved from the castle that was demolished, we can still find some walls and part of the vaults.

So if we want to stop by to see this spectacular construction and also see the beautiful Christmas lights of Vic in the surrounding streets, we can enjoy a spectacular construction that is still standing today, very well preserved.
