Chabeli Navarro and Bertín Osborne continue to make headlines for the alleged relationship they both had in the past. While Bertín was in the media spotlight for his paternity at the age of 69 with Gabriela Guillén, Chabeli has spoken about his relationship with the presenter, revealing that she got pregnant, but that then the singer allegedly “convinced her to interrupt the pregnancy”. This Saturday, the former suitor of Mujeres y Hombres y Viceversa returned to offer statements on the subject at Fiesta de verano, and she offered new evidence that dismantled the singer’s version.
Navarro appeared on the public scene a few days ago, to confess that she became pregnant with the singer and communicator, a baby that she did not have in the end, since she decided to abort. In addition, the young woman assured in her intervention at Fiesta de verano last weekend that she never took precautions during their intimate encounters and that he had previously stated that the vasectomy could fail. After several days in which only the version of the Sevillian has been known, it was Bertín issued a statement this week.
“I had no more than three or four meetings with Miss Chabeli Navarro,” said Bertín in the statement issued exclusively in Así es la vida. “We couldn’t and I wasn’t willing to have a child with the kind of relationship we had,” Osborne said. “A person close to her told me that she had a stable relationship with another person,” said Bertín Osborne from the moment he found out that the Sevillian woman was pregnant.
Regarding the doubts about the paternity of the baby, the presenter also had words for this issue. “I called her to tell her that I would help and support her in whatever she decided and that of course she would do a paternity test,” she said, adding that “if the child was mine, I would assume all my responsibilities towards him and the mother.”
This Saturday, Chabeli has reappeared in Fiesta de verano, ready to give answers. The young woman has assured that she was not in a relationship with another person at the time she became pregnant, as Osborne claimed, and has admitted having received money from Bertín: an amount of 10,000 euros plus 2,200 euros per month for nine months. “It was money to help me and I took it,” she admits. In addition, she admits that she was forced to take that money because “all the doors of work in Seville were closed to her.”
Chabeli has also denied this Saturday that she had signed that notarial deed that has been discussed this week. She says that she gave a power of attorney to her lawyer and she was the one who signed that document. She denies having seen that contract they signed and she considers herself deceived in this regard, as she has revealed during her appearance at Summer Party.
Chabeli has responded by showing all his evidence that would dismantle Bertín’s version, and he has done so through documents and audios. Aurelio Manzano was the first of the collaborators to listen to one of Chabeli’s audios. “It is a conversation between Chabeli and Bertín in which they talk about terminating the pregnancy and he explains to her what the doctor has told him regarding what would be the process that she would have to go through (…). If he He has denied that he did not know that she was pregnant, in this audio it would be demonstrated,” reflects the journalist, which would show that Bertín did know about the pregnancy.
