The commotion around the new ‘maternity’ of Ana Obregón after resorting to a surrogate in the United States does not stop growing. Social networks have condemned this practice, which is illegal in Spain and requires what is known as reproductive tourism to be carried out. The actress has received the support of a few celebrities, such as Georgina Rodríguez or Pelayo Díaz.

After the attack by Antonia Dell’Atte, who said in networks that she likes Miami “because it is so big that you can avoid meeting pathetic people”, Carmen Lomana joins the battle. The socialite is characterized by not mincing words and she has not hesitated to open up about what she thinks of Obregón’s decision.

The Espejo Público collaborator believes that the actress is using her daughter to fill “that big void” left by the death of her son, Aless Lequio, on May 13, 2020. Lomana declares that “humanly I understand her and if that it makes him happy… But it’s all weird ethically and sociologically, and you have to think about that girl.”

The socialite has added that, despite the fact that the creature will be well cared for, “when Ana is 80-85 years old, she will have a teenage daughter and no matter how well you are, the years weigh on you and there is a great generational difference that how you are doing to understand”.

The bomb came later, when Lomana spoke about the possibility that the girl was fertilized with frozen sperm from Aless Lequio, being in this case the granddaughter and not the daughter of Ana Obregón. “What I am sure of is that this carrier woman has been inseminated with the semen of her son. I have it clear because it is the only thing I see that she has a reason for being,” she declared.

“Ana is going to be a grandmother and Lequio too. I think that she, in her despair, will have thought that it was the way to continue having her son,” he added. As expected, the statements have caused a stir on social networks and Lomana reaffirmed hours later in front of the Europa Press cameras that she thinks “99%” that the surrogate pregnancy has been carried out “with Aless’s sperm”.

Carmen Lomana understands pregnancy as a way to “be a grandmother, she would have been excited and could not, and see a continuation of her son when she sees that girl who is very likely to look like her,” she opined. “If this makes her happy, that’s fine, but that girl will never take away Aless’s emptiness. I love her very much and if this is what she thinks she should do and she’s happy,” she says.
