The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, will make public the composition of the new Valencian Government this Wednesday, two days after taking office, through an appearance at the Palau de la Generalitat that will take place at 9.30 am.

The forecast is that the new coalition Council between the PP and Vox will be made up of ten people -two fewer than with the Botànic-, including the president, the first vice president and the Minister of Culture, who is already known to be Vicente Barrera (Vox), and a second vice presidency and Department of Equality.

Of the ten portfolios, seven will be in the hands of the PP and three will be managed by Vox, which in addition to the first vice presidency and the Department of Culture will have the Department of Justice, Interior and the Interior and that of Agriculture, according to the government agreement signed between both parties after the regional elections on May 28.

Mazón has advanced this Wednesday that his Executive will be characterized by an “optimization of the Administration” and by a reduction of Ministries, senior positions and advisers, in order to have more public resources “destined for citizens and social policies.

Once the president has made public the names of the people who will accompany him in the Executive, they will take office on Wednesday afternoon in a ceremony to be held at the Palau de la Generalitat starting at 5:00 p.m. .
