IFAS and the NGO With Your Hands have launched a campaign to collect medical supplies for civilians and soldiers affected by the war in Ukraine.
The initiative will run from May 6 to 17 and the promoters ask for orthopedic and urology material and also diapers.
Those who want to participate in the collection will have to take the material to the MIFAS headquarters in Girona, at Rambla Xavier Cugat 43.
Once selected, both entities will send everything that has been contributed to the country, so that civilians and soldiers affected by the war can use them. The initiative arose from the demand of various NGOs in Ukraine and Poland to obtain urology and orthopedic products such as crutches, wheelchairs, probes or walkers.
Both entities hope to be able to transport everything collected in the first weeks of June with vans from the NGO Con tus manos. However, it is requested that products that have batteries included are not given, as they must be rejected.
