Brad Johnson, the 'Melrose Place" star, has died at 62 in Covid

His talent agent reported that Brad Johnson, an actor who starred in Steven Spielberg’s film “Always” as well as Fox’s series “Melrose Place”, died from Covid-19 complications.

He was 62.

Linda McAlister, his talent agent, confirmed his death in Fort Worth on February 18, Texas to NBC News.

His family said that Brad was a true Renaissance man in their obituary. He was too young to live a full life and taught his children the same.

The family said that Brad enjoyed improving land and maintaining its natural beauty. His passion for the land and feeling at home outdoors was what he felt most comfortable with. Brad loved his cowboying, hunting, and land as much as anything, but his greatest love was his family.

According to his IMDb page, Johnson had roles in 45 movies and TV series over a 30-year career. His most prominent roles included Ted Baker’s 1989 film “Always”, Rayford Steele in “Left Behind” and Dr. Dominick Olley on “Melrose Place.”

His other credits include the 1991 film, Flight of the Intruder, the 1997 adventure series, Soldier of Fortune, Inc., and the miniseries, Ned Blessing: The Story of My Life and Times.”

According to his obituary, Johnson worked in commercial and advertising work before Hollywood.
