The Senate Saturday voted 55-45 to hear from witnesses, but the Trump legal group and House impeachment managers came into the arrangement to acknowledge Herrera Beutler’s statement to evidence rather than ask additional witnesses.

In Herrera Beutler’s announcement, she revealed her claims which she made before to Washington paper The Daily News — which McCarthy talked to Trump since rioters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, however Trump refused to prevent them.

Herrera Beutler finished her statement by hard people who have firsthand knowledge of Trump’s activities throughout the Capitol siege — such as former Vice President Mike Pence — to come forward.

“To the patriots that had been standing alongside the president because these conversations were occurring, or even to the former presidentif you have some thing to include, today would be the moment,” she wrote.
