The territory of this Maresme locality is largely occupied by pine and holm oak forests. We can also find oaks. And hazelnuts, in the most humid streams in the shade.

Premiá de Dalt is located in a small valley of the Litoral mountain range, facing the sea. It is located on the southern slope of the Marina mountain range between Premià de Mar, Vilassar de Dalt and Teià.

It is estimated that the first historical precedent of what is now Premiá de Dalt dates from the end of the 5th century BC. C. and it was a town founded by the layetanos. Currently, remains of an Iberian settlement are preserved in the Turó de la Cadira del Bisbe dating from the 5th and 1st centuries BC. c.

The highest points with the best views of the landscape can be found in Turó d’en Baldiri, at an altitude of 430 metres; the Turó de Lledó, at 496 meters; and the Turó d’en Cases, at 396 meters.
