The remodeling of Metro Line 1 is not only going to cause cuts in the Madrid subsoil. The City Council has warned of up to 17 effects on road traffic that will continue throughout the summer in the southeast area of ​​the capital and that will leave lanes unused and sections cut off, among other things.
This Monday the works to modernize the track between the Sol and Valdecarros stations began, which the Community of Madrid will undertake before the definitive closure of the line, which will take place on June 24. And the previous work for the entry of material and concreting are already causing the first headaches for the drivers that we are going to list.
