In our family (well, I think it’s the same in all of us) we have some culinary rituals. For example, the sugar-free soda when we eat pizza, a good pasta on the weekends and hot dogs for dinner on Sunday.
They are tiny gestures, but they are creating customs and gaining meaning in the lives of families. In addition, they are very useful for planning the purchase, because you already know that they are fixed items on the weekly menu.
In addition, they become moments of sharing with the family, a kind of micro-Christmas, in which the family gathers around a (I don’t know whether to call it) tradition and spends a good time doing something that was already known to happen, but that always generates excitement.
