The balloons take off with the hermitage of Sant Sebastià and the Castell d’en Planes de Vic, in Osona, as the first references in the landscape of La Plana, as can be seen in these images in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

The hermitage of Sant Sebastià belongs to the parish of Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer and the municipality of Vic. It is visible from many points in the Plana de Vic.

From this hermitage, at an altitude of 770 metres, you can also see a large part of the Osona region.

Many cultural events are held in this church and the Sunday after Easter Sunday is organized l’Aplec de Sant Sebastià.

The Castell d’en Planes, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest, is a fortification that has undergone changes over time. Now it is considered a modern work built in the 60s of the last century, on the basis of a fortification from the Carlist period of the 19th century.
