The shipping company Baleària has requested Ports de les Illes Balears (Ports IB) to dock in the port of Sant Antoni to be able to carry out maritime services from this Ibizan port to Dénia and Palma starting next June 14 and until September 30. The services, which will be exclusive for passengers and passenger cars, will be operated by the Cecilia Payne fast ferry.

The company will schedule a daily service between the port of Sant Antoni and Dénia. The departure from the Peninsula to Sant Antoni will be at 9 a.m., while in the opposite direction it will be at 9:15 p.m., with a duration of the crossing of less than two hours. In addition, there will also be four connections a week with the port of Palma from Friday to Monday, with a duration of 2.30 hours each way.

The Cecilia Payne has a capacity for 800 people and is one of the fastest ships in the shipping company’s fleet, as it can reach a maximum speed of 38 knots. The ship, which has been recently renovated, has different lounges, a children’s area, cafes, a shop and a pet area. In addition, it has on-demand digital entertainment through the Smart B platform and has free WhatsApp coverage.
