The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda has allocated more than eight million euros from European Next Generation funds for the construction of 60 serviced flats on Antoni Bori street in Badalona.

These are flats measuring an average of 67 square meters, of which 70% will be used for rent for young people up to 35 years of age, the rest will be used for social contingencies. The construction will be promoted with the modality of public-private collaboration with a 75-year concession.

The agreement between the Generalitat, the Ministry and the Badalona City Council will allow work to begin on the 60 floors before the summer of 2026. They will be energy-sustainable homes that will be built on a 1,125-square-meter plot, at Calle Antoni Bori, 22- 28.
