The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, begins a three-day visit to London this Monday to promote the region as an investment center and strengthen institutional relations with the United Kingdom.
In her first, the president will visit Digital Catapult, the British Government’s national innovation agency, where she plans to meet with the director of Policy, Research and Strategic Engagement, Phil Young.
In addition, Díaz Ayuso participates in a lunch with Spanish residents in the British capital organized by the Popular Party of London and the Spanish Financial Club of this capital.
As part of her program, the president will visit Colt Technology this afternoon to learn about the company’s investment plans in the region in terms of digital infrastructure, while tonight she will deliver a speech at an event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in the United Kingdom, together with its counterpart British Chamber of Commerce in Spain.
On Tuesday, Díaz Ayuso meets with the head of Policy and Resources for the City of London (financial center), Chris Hayward, before visiting Wayra UK, a digital and new technology company that works in Latin America and Europe, for later Go to the London School of Economics to learn about entrepreneurship and financing projects.
On Wednesday, the last day of her visit, the president of the Community of Madrid will hold an informative breakfast at the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain to present investors with the advantages of investing in the region.

It is the second trip that Ayuso has made these days to attract investment, since last week he was in Jerusalem for the same reason: to show Madrid as an attractive destination for companies.
