The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, continues with her dialectic of attacking the President of the Government. This Thursday he pointed out the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, as “responsible” for having “sold” Pamplona “to the political arm of ETA”, something that, in his opinion, could have been avoided if EH Bildu had been brought before the justice.
“I don’t want these criminals to return Spain to 1936, I don’t want these people to stay with Spain,” Ayuso said while showing a newspaper cover reporting the murder of the UPN councilor in Pamplona, ??Tomás Caballero.
In statements to the media, together with the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, after the signing of a collaboration agreement with the capital’s City Council, Ayuso denounced that Sánchez “is complicit” in EH Bildu having come to power in the Pamplona City Council, reports Efe.
Amid harsh criticism of the President of the Government for being “selling” Spain in exchange for “a few more years or months in the chair”, Ayuso has warned Sánchez that he will have to “be accountable to history” for the agreements with EH Bildu, because “rabid minorities sit in the seats thanks to a pact with Sánchez.”
The leader of the PP has insisted on her position that the nationalist group should respond to justice, and has reiterated that it should be studied “if its attendance is legal.”
Along these lines, he has insisted on reflecting on whether “everything within our power as a democracy to protect ourselves” has been done and whether “what is correct under the law” has been done.
“Let the Spaniards never forget that Sánchez sold Pamplona to the political arm of ETA, just as he sold to Junts justice and the police, the history of Spain, equality before the law among all Spaniards,” said the regional president.
“Let all Spaniards remember that Sánchez is responsible for what is happening today in Navarra, that we will pay for it for decades,” he remarked.
