The Emergency Coordination Center has established the orange pre-emergency level for this Tuesday, due to storms that could accumulate 40 liters per square meter and be accompanied by hail and very strong gusts of wind, in the interior of the province of Castellón and the interior and southern coast of Valencia.

The alert in the interior of Castellón will be activated at 12 noon and is expected to end at 8 p.m., while in the interior and southern coast of Valencia it will begin at 4 p.m. and is expected to end at 11:59 p.m.

The yellow level risk has also been established for storms that could accumulate 20 liters per square meter and be accompanied by hail throughout the Valencian Community, except in the southern interior of Valencia and the southern coast of Alicante.

On the northern coast of Castellón the yellow warning will be active between 11:59 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., in the interior and northern coast of Valencia between 4:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., and in the interior of Castellón between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.: 59 hours.

The yellow level alert will remain active during the early hours of Wednesday – between 00:00 and 6 a.m. – on the coast of the provinces of Castellón and Valencia, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
