The Local Police have arrested a 54-year-old man after throwing his 48-year-old partner from a second floor in Fuengirola, Málaga. As police sources informed EFE this Monday, the woman had to be taken to the hospital, but she has already been discharged.
Currently, the case is being investigated by the Family and Care Unit for Women (UFAM) of the National Police. At the moment, the individual remains in custody for alleged responsibility in a crime of attempted homicide in the area of ??gender violence.
The events occurred this Sunday around 1:30 p.m. on Álvarez Quintero Street, in the El Boquetillo area. The Local Police, upon arriving at the scene, found the victim in the yard in pain and with injuries to his legs as a result of the fall.
The woman, of Ukrainian origin, told the police that the man, of the same nationality, had thrown her from the second floor. Next, the agents went to the couple’s home, but when no one opened the door, they forced entry and arrested the alleged aggressor, who was inside.
On the other hand, the health services were also alerted, which treated and transferred the victim to the Regional Hospital of the Costa del Sol, in Marbella. According to police sources, the detainee is in police custody at the National Police Station in Fuengirola and will be brought to justice this Tuesday.
