The Civil Guard has arrested a person, who is accused of four crimes of vehicle theft committed in the provinces of Toledo and Madrid, which have been recovered.
Last February, the Almorox Civil Guard began an investigation, after receiving a report from the Municipal Police of Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) alerting of the presence of an individual in the municipality of Almorox, who could be stealing vehicles for subsequent dismantling and sale of parts.
After locating a vehicle reported stolen from an old gas station in the town of Almorox, the officers at the post carried out efforts to find the identity of the alleged perpetrator, who before abandoning it managed to remove its bumper, leaving the vehicle abandoned, reports the armed institute.
After the information received, the Civil Guard carried out a search through an area in the municipality of Almorox, observing three vehicles in an abandoned shelter with obvious symptoms of being dismantled.
After carrying out the relevant checks with the Civil Guard service base, it was confirmed that the three vehicles were reported stolen in three locations in the Community of Madrid, such as Pozuelo de Alarcón, Villanueva de la Cañada and the district of Hortaleza. .
The investigation led to the opening of an operation by the Almorox Civil Guard with the collaboration of the local Pozuelo de Alarcón Police, with all actions brought to the attention of the Torrijos Courts.
With the arrest of this person, it was observed that he stole VAG group vehicles in the area of ??his residence, specifically in Pozuelo de Alarcón and nearby towns in the Community of Madrid. Later he moved them and dismantled them on a farm he owned in the municipality of Almorox.
After dismantling the vehicles, he sold these parts through various websites, including a well-known buying and selling portal.
In a report made by the Local Police of Pozuelo Alarcón, they communicate that they proceeded to investigate this person for the sale of tires from a vehicle that advertises it on a well-known website, being one of the vehicles stolen in the Community of Madrid , note that of the three cars found in the area, one of them is missing the four tires that coincided with those advertised by the alleged author.
The Almorox Civil Guard Agents had the collaboration of the local Pozuelo de Alarcón Police and thus successfully completed the investigation, managing to recover four stolen vehicles.
